What do iris scans analyze?

Iris scans specifically analyze the color portion that surrounds the pupil, also known as the iris. The iris contains unique patterns, textures, and colors unique to each individual, making it an effective biometrics method for identity verification. This distinctiveness is what enables iris recognition systems to differentiate between individuals with high accuracy.
